For Microsoft Windows XP follow the steps below in installing and configuring your dialup connection to Web56.net:

1. Click on Start--->All Programs--->Accessories--->Communications--->New Connection Wizard

2. Click Next.

3. Choose Connect to the Internet.

Click Next.

4. Choose Set up my connection manually. Click Next.

5. Select Connect using a dial-up modem. Click Next.

6. Enter Web56.Net for the ISP name and Click Next.

7. Enter your Web56.Net dial-up number .
    If you do not know the dial-up number, you can check our on-line
    database to look up the many access numbers we have.
    We will use the Miami number in our example which is 305.675.5465

8. Enter your username and password in the boxes as
    shown below and Click Next.
    ( It is very important to add your user id exactly as your email
      address ie joe@web56.net)

9. Make sure there is a checkmark in the "Add a shortcut to
this connection to my desktop" box and Click finish.

10. Look on your windows desktop and double click on your
Web56.Net icon which should look like this.

11. Verify that your username is correct.

Make sure there is a checkmark in the:
"Save this user name and password for the following users" box.

Select "Anyone who uses this computer"

Click Dial.

That's it, after your modem dials and connects you will be online!

12. Double click on your Internet Explorer Icon
and surf the web.
